Job summary

Autism Together in Birkenhead is seeking an experienced Team Leader to support one of our Bromborough Services. The role involves first line leadership of a care team, delivering a person-centred service and ensuring a high standard of care within a residential setting for 8 individuals.

Hours are 37.5 per week with a rota between 7:30 and 22:00, including weekend cover. £15.15 per hour, with benefits such as DBS, induction training, pension and career progression.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to the people.
  • To lead a team of support workers to establish and maintain a high standard of care practice within the Residential Services.
  • Ensure an effective, responsive, caring and safe service for the individuals we support.
  • Actively promote an autism-specific culture through effective work practices and identify any additional support needs.
  • To ensure accurate records and reporting systems.

Location: Birkenhead Status: Permanent Hours: 37 hours & 30 minutes per week Rate of pay: £15.15 per hour Please note you must hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence for this position. (job subject to 4-month internal probationary period).


Team Leader We are looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader to support one of our Bromborough Services. This service provides intensive support to 8 individuals within a residential setting providing care on a one-to-one basis to enhance general life skills. The postholder will assist the Operational Service Manager to provide sound leadership and day to day running of the staff team to deliver a person centric service and deliver innovative strategies to meet the needs of our People. The role involves first Line Leadership to our care heroes to achieve lifelong careers with the Charity. We are looking for a creative and proactive individual who has excellent communication and compassionate skills to work with muti-disciplinary teams.   • Hours of work: Typically, on a rota working between the hours of 7.30 till 10pm. Rota to be discussed at interview. The postholder will be expected to provide management cover across a 7-day period covering weekends, and this will form part of your normal contracted hours.
