We are looking for dedicated, resilient, and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to join our specialist support team. The role involves supporting individuals with complex autism and learning disabilities in their home environment and community.
Responsibilities
Supporting individuals within their home environment along with daily activities, appointments and personal care needs. Promoting wellbeing and independence.
- Providing high‑quality, person‑centred support to individuals with complex autism and learning disabilities.
- Following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and individual support plans.
- Supporting individuals with daily living skills, personal development, and social integration.
- Recognising and responding proactively to signs of anxiety or distress to prevent escalation.
- Supporting participation in meaningful activities both within the home and the local community.
- Assisting with appointments, shopping trips, holidays, leisure activities, and social opportunities.
- Administering and managing medication safely and accurately.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and communication logs.
- Supporting individuals with budgeting and managing personal finances.
- Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Driver with a UK Manual licence and access to a car.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting people with autism and learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication skills and strong understanding of person‑centred approaches.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Desirable Level 2 or 3 in Health and social care.

- Sleep‑in duties are payable at £60 per night.
- Overtime pay: weekdays £1.20 per hour, weekends £2.00 per hour on top of hourly rate.
Hours
32 hours & 40 minutes per week on a rota basis between 7.30am – 10pm.
Job Type and Salary
Permanent, full‑time. Salary: £13.55 per hour.
