Job summary

Dovehaven Care Homes is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Days) at Pennine View, Accrington. You will work 44 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, leading by example and supporting the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Pennine View is a residential care home catering for up to 50 residents. The home specialises in dementia care. The home is to be maintained to very high standard and our team will provide a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night whilst supporting the wider care team to deliver exceptional standards of care.

This includes:

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
  • Previous supervisory experience within a care or nursing home setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care essential
