Dovehaven Care Homes in Warrington is seeking Care Assistants for day or night shifts. This rewarding role requires a compassionate approach towards residents' care, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing in a team-oriented setting.

You will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of up to 120 residents by providing person-centred care, either during the active day or the calm of the night. Roles are available on a flexible contract basis, with a focus on teamwork and support.

Care Assistant (Days OR Nights)

Callands Nursing Home, Warrington

22, 33 or 44 hour contracts available – 12 hour shifts 7‑7 on a rota basis with every other weekend availability required.

Callands is a welcoming home in the heart of Warrington, offering tailored care across five smaller households, each designed to feel calm, personal, and familiar. We support up to 120 residents with a wide range of needs, offering personalised care in an environment where your loved one can feel safe, comfortable and understood.

To create a true sense of belonging and connection, our home is thoughtfully divided into five households, each named after a beautiful body of water from the Lake District.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for—day and night.

This includes:

• Personal care delivered with dignity
• Supporting emotional wellbeing
• Encouraging independence where possible
• Working closely with your team to maintain a safe environment

(Night roles also include light cleaning duties to support the home)
