Job summary

Charing Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant for The Vale Care Home in Maidstone. The role is part-time with 22 hours per week, including weekend work. The hourly rate is £13.30–£13.50.

You will support residents in line with care plans, upholding privacy and dignity, and contribute to the smooth operation and positive atmosphere of the home.

Qualifications

• A kind and caring person.
• Previous care experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• To provide support and guidance for residents according to their care plans/support plans in enabling them to maintain as much independence as practicable.
• To promote Privacy and Dignity at all times whilst in the employment of CHC.
• To ensure that you contribute, to the best of your ability, to the efficient running of the home and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the residents.

Contracted hours: 22 Hours per week, Position will include working alternative weekends.

Hourly rate of pay: £13.30 - £13.50 per hour
