Job summary

Starcom in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Data & Tech Director to shape audience strategy and drive data and technology transformation for a major global client. You will translate global directions into regional roadmaps, partnering with senior client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to build, connect, and activate audiences across markets.

You will blend technical leadership with strong client management, guiding identity, data partnerships and planning tools while ensuring

Qualifications

• Strong client leadership with experience advising senior stakeholders.
• Experience creating strategic roadmaps and aligning multiple teams.
• Deep understanding of audience strategy and data usage (1st/2nd/partner data).
• Knowledge of the digital media, martech and adtech landscape; can explain technical topics clearly.
• Familiarity with audience and planning platforms such as Epsilon, Lotame, Growth OS or similar tools.
• Understanding taxonomy's role in connected planning and governance.
• Curious, pragmatic, and able to navigate complex organisations through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of regional data and technology roadmaps.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and turn data/tech topics into clear recommendations.
• Shape audience strategies to drive sustainable growth using identity data.
• Adapt global audience frameworks for regional/local use without owning media planning/execution.
• Advise on identity, data partnerships, audience tech and planning tools.
• Collaborate with planning, strategy, data science, analytics and market teams.
• Lead and support Data & Technology team members to deliver high-quality work.
