Job summary

Moto Hospitality is seeking a Data Support Manager to lead the data and reporting support function and continuously improve our data platforms. You will head a small team of Data Support Engineers, work with third-party providers and ensure services run smoothly on a daily basis.

This role blends people leadership with service management and technical understanding, offering influence over data quality, governance and automation across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT/data support or managed service functions.
• Track record of building/high-performing teams.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and SLAs.
• Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
• Understanding of BI/reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik).
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake/dbt/Prefect.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day support of Moto's data platforms and reporting estate; drive proactive, scalable support and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop a team of Data Support Engineers.
• Manage workloads, priorities, and performance conversations.
• Be primary contact for third-party data support provider and monitor SLAs.
• Monitor service performance and hold suppliers accountable.
• Manage escalations, incidents and requests across data and reporting landscape.
• Drive data quality improvements and identify recurring issues at source.
• Collaborate with Data Platform and Analytics teams to prioritise changes.
• Implement automation, monitoring and alerting to reduce manual work.
• Ensure users have access to training and documentation.
• Produce regular service performance reporting for leadership.
• Support governance, compliance and information security across data services.
