Job summary

Grid Dynamics leads innovative technology programs and supports a major UK sustainability initiative by designing and operationalizing a robust data governance framework. You will own governance across lineage, stewardship, quality and access control to drive real-world impact through large enterprise supply chains.

The role emphasizes translating regulatory requirements into architecture, developing reusable governance playbooks, and advising clients while collaborating with engineering teams

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating governance functions for large enterprises.
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical architecture and engineering practice.
• Direct experience engaging senior client stakeholders in presales, discovery, or advisory contexts.
• Fluent with modern data platforms and governance tooling (Purview, Collibra, Alation).
• Excellent communication skills for presenting governance assessments to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the data governance perspective for a large data engagement and shape governance requirements.
• Translate regulatory, compliance, and policy requirements into concrete architecture and delivery decisions.
• Build and maintain reusable data governance frameworks, maturity models, and assessment playbooks.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders bridging policy concerns and engineering decisions.
• Support delivery teams in operationalizing governance: stewardship models, data quality, lineage, and access control policies.
• Track evolving regulatory and AI-governance landscape and translate implications into practical guidance.
