Job summary

Validio is looking for a Sales Engineer to join the team in London, partnering with Account Executives to prove data quality and platform value to data leaders. You will translate complex data problems into clear value paths and deliver compelling demonstrations.

You’ll run technical discovery with data and engineering teams, own proof-of-value engagements end to end, and create demos and assets that scale how we sell.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions, or sales engineering in data/analytics.
• Fluent with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, dbt, Looker, Tableau.
• Able to translate technical capability into business value for engineers and executives.
• Proactive ownership to move deals forward.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AEs on deal strategy and qualify where Validio wins.
• Run technical discovery with business data and engineering teams and map challenges to our platform.
• Own proof-of-value engagements end to end—from criteria to data speaking for itself.
• Deliver tailored demos and turn technical evaluators into internal champions.
• Be the trusted technical voice for prospects and feed insights back to Product/Engineering.
• Build demos, playbooks, and reusable assets that scale how we sell.
