Job summary

Skipton Building Society Group is seeking a Solutions Architect focused on data to shape how data is used across the organisation. You’ll design end-to-end solutions across applications, platforms and data ecosystems, embedding architecture into delivery to drive insight and better member outcomes.

You’ll partner with product owners and engineering teams, guiding decisions to balance immediate delivery with sustainable data quality and governance in a modern, cloud-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design end-to-end data-centric solutions.
• Experience guiding architecture in agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned to enterprise architecture and strategy.
• Collaborate with product owners, delivery leads and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into designs.
• Guide and influence technical decisions balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
• Provide architectural governance across the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify risks, trade-offs and opportunities to improve simplicity and coherence.
