Job summary

FSP is seeking a Data Security Engineer to join our Cyber Engineering team in the UK. You will provide technical consultancy on Microsoft-aligned security offerings, focusing on data, identity and application security, with strong Purview experience and knowledge of Defender for Cloud Apps.

You will assess security posture, identify risks, and develop practical remediation plans aligned to business objectives, collaborating with customers and service leads to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft data security expertise, esp. Purview, DLP and governance.
• Ability to assess security posture and define remediation plans across M365, endpoints and SaaS.
• Clear communication of risks and actionable customer deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern secure controls to manage data risk and improve visibility.
• Provide guidance on Microsoft security capabilities (Purview, Defender for Cloud Apps).
• Deliver security gap analyses and maturity assessments across Microsoft 365, endpoint and SaaS.
• Design secure, scalable solutions aligned to customer needs and translate objectives into outcomes.
• Perform security assessments and deliver prioritised remediation roadmaps.
