Job summary

Threatscape is seeking a Consultant specializing in Microsoft Security with a strong focus on Purview, data security, data governance and AI. The role involves remote-first work with occasional travel and requires UK or Ireland work authorization.

You will lead security engagements, run workshops, and translate business needs into practical security solutions. Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years in cybersecurity, hands-on Purview experience, and a solid grasp of Microsoft 365/Azure.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience in cybersecurity with hands-on Purview, data security, governance and AI capabilities.
• Experience designing and delivering Microsoft security solutions in client-facing environments.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and the wider Microsoft Security ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading workshops, gathering requirements, and managing customer relationships.
• Microsoft certifications in Security, Compliance, Identity or Purview-related disciplines are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Microsoft security engagements focusing on Purview, data security, governance and AI.
• Facilitate customer workshops, discovery sessions, demonstrations, and technical design discussions.
• Assess client environments, conduct security reviews and gap analyses, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Design and implement Microsoft security solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, reports, presentations, and implementation plans.
• Act as trusted advisor to help clients maximise value of Microsoft Security technologies.
• Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution design, scoping, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on internal initiatives, service development and continuous improvement.
