Legalandgeneral is seeking a Data Quality Manager to build a proactive data quality capability within our Asset Management business. The role combines hands-on SQL analysis with data quality management and senior stakeholder engagement.

You’ll develop controls that identify data issues earlier, investigate causes, and help the business understand their impact, while engaging colleagues across Asset Management and coordinating with offshore resources for sustainable processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL experience with data checks or controls.
• Experience analyzing and resolving data quality issues.
• Understanding of data quality management and governance.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to link data issues to business impact.
• Experience with Financial services, investment data, Snowflake, Power BI or MI reporting would be helpful.

Responsabilités

• Build and run SQL queries to identify and monitor data quality issues.
• Develop proactive data quality controls and checks.
• Analyse data to understand the causes and business impacts of quality issues.
• Gather and document requirements from business and data stakeholders.
• Work with senior stakeholders to agree priorities and actions.
• Coordinate with offshore resources supporting query execution and analysis.
• Contribute to management information reporting and data quality dashboards.
• Help build a sustainable in-house data quality analysis capability.
