Job summary

Legal & General (L&G) in the UK is seeking a Data Quality Manager to help build a proactive data quality capability within Asset Management. This role blends hands-on SQL analysis with data quality management and senior stakeholder engagement.

You’ll develop controls to identify issues earlier, investigate causes and help the business understand the impact, while gathering requirements and building strong cross‑functional relationships.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL experience, including data quality checks.
• Experience analysing and resolving data quality issues.
• Strong understanding of data governance and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Build and run SQL queries to identify data quality issues.
• Develop proactive data quality controls and checks.
• Analyse data to understand causes and business impact of quality issues.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Work with senior stakeholders to set priorities and actions.
• Coordinate with offshore resources for query execution and analysis.
• Contribute to data quality dashboards and MI reporting.
• Help build an in-house data quality capability.
