Job summary

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a proactive Data Quality and Insights Officer to join our Business Intelligence team in Nottingham. You will lead efforts to improve data quality, governance and insights to support operational effectiveness, community safety and strategic decision-making.

You will collaborate with Prevention, Protection, Risk Assurance and other teams to embed high data standards and deliver dashboards, reports and metrics for performance monitoring and audit

Qualifications

• Lead on maintaining and improving data quality across key business systems.
• Identify, investigate and resolve data quality issues, implementing sustainable solutions where needed.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data quality metrics to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and insights that support community safety and operational effectiveness.
• Provide expert advice and support to colleagues to improve data standards, consistency and governance.
• Support compliance, audit and reporting requirements by ensuring data is accurate, reliable and auditable.
• Deliver training and guidance to promote best practice in data management across the organisation.
