Job summary

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a Data and Performance Officer to support performance reporting, data quality, and evidence-based decision making. You will develop dashboards and manage information across Prevention, Protection, Response and Support Services.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience with data reporting. Some travel may be required; a pool car will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the production and development of dashboards, reports and management information.
• Analyse data trends across Prevention, Protection, Response and Support Services.
• Produce statistical analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Respond to information requests including FOI requests.
• Support data quality, governance, GDPR compliance and NFCC Fire Data Management Standard implementation.
• Extract, validate and report data using SQL and reporting tools.
