Job summary

Times Higher Education is seeking a proactive Data Editor to support the Data Delivery Managers and the capability lead for THE Rankings. The role is hybrid with 1–2 days per week in the office and offers a salary of £32,000.

You will oversee the Rankings mailbox, manage data quality, assist with data collection processes, and help validate and document data across multiple sources. A strong organizational skill set and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.

Qualifications

• Degreed educated.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
• Experience of improving data quality and data cleansing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Rankings mailbox within SLA; escalate when needed.
• Proactively resolve customer queries and complaints; determine causes and implement solutions.
• Update and maintain the data collection CRM with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with submission engagement cycle and validation of institutions.
• Monitor progress and report to Data capability lead; maintain records of interactions.
• Assist in gathering, researching, and validating data across data sources.
• Support portal testing for data collection launch and team training.
