Job summary

Understanding Recruitment is assisting a well-known national charity in London to recruit a Data & Insights Manager to lead and grow the organisation's insight function. This newly created role will oversee two analysts and support an ambitious fundraising strategy.

You will help shift from traditional reporting to advanced analytics, including audience profiling, segmentation, propensity modelling and lifetime value. Strong communication with senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an insight function and managing analysts.
• Ability to turn data into actionable insight with SQL and BI.
• Strong analytical background with credible stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two analysts, guiding the organisation's insight capability.
• Move beyond reporting to advanced analysis: segmentation, audience profiling, propensity modelling, lifetime value.
• Turn complex data into meaningful, actionable insight using SQL and Power BI.
• Collaborate with fundraising and senior stakeholders to ensure insight informs strategy.
• Bring strong analytical expertise and stakeholder management; charity/fundraising experience is advantageous but not essential.
