Job summary

YMCA North Tyneside is seeking a Data Quality Manager to lead our data management strategy at North Shields. This full-time role focuses on safeguarding information assets and enabling strategic decision-making across the organisation.

You will drive governance, privacy compliance with RSH standards, and explore AI-led improvements to internal processes, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and security.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Experience in data management, analytics, or business intelligence with a strong grasp of data privacy laws and governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in data querying, analysis, and visualization tools, alongside project management skills to map out complex data processes.
• The ability to execute AI initiatives aligned with business objectives, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and clear stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and execution of our data management strategy and information governance policies.
• Ensuring data integrity to satisfy standards set by the Regulator for Social Housing (RSH) and supporting data privacy compliance.
• Facilitate data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of all information within the organisation.
• Driving AI transformation and innovation initiatives, including assessing risks and implementing predictive tools to improve internal processes.
