Newcastle Building Society is seeking a Data Governance Manager to design and embed the enterprise Data Governance Framework. You will work with Data Governance Analysts and key stakeholders to ensure data ownership, quality and compliance across the organisation.

You will lead governance initiatives, embed Data Ownership and Stewardship, and support the rollout of a modern data platform while balancing governance with business needs.

Qualifikationen

• Experienced Data Governance professional with a proven track record in Financial Services, Banking, Building Society or Insurance environments.
• Experience implementing Data Governance frameworks, operating models and controls.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management and data management disciplines.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement and embed the Group's enterprise Data Governance Framework.
• Collaborate with Data Governance Analysts and senior stakeholders across functions.
• Drive data quality improvements, identify Critical Data Elements and define metadata, lineage and retention requirements.
