Job summary

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is seeking a Data Governance & Design Delivery Lead to oversee data governance activities and coordinate design workstreams across major infrastructure projects. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance, while coordinating design delivery programmes and managing risks to meet regulatory and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data management, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and dashboards such as Power BI.
• Experience working with mapping/GIS platforms and asset data systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, risks, and project timelines.
• Understanding of data quality, governance principles, risk management, and data security best practices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience within utilities, water, wastewater, civil engineering, or project delivery environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data governance activities and coordinate delivery of design workstreams to support operational and project success.
• Ensure critical business data is accurate, consistent, and well-managed across systems.
• Lead initiatives that improve data quality, reporting, and governance practices.
• Manage design delivery programmes, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, risks, and outputs to meet client, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Act as a key contact for internal teams and external clients, providing insight and driving continuous improvement through accurate reporting and data management.
