Job description

Social network you want to login/join with:

The management, integrity, and maintenance of the data we hold in all our systems are incredibly important to us and our clients. As a Data Quality Analyst, you'll undertake analysis to identify gaps by reviewing practices and associated data, and documenting outcomes across the business. You’ll work with subject matter experts to provide explanations, clarifications, and solutions.

Sitting in the Data Governance function of the business, you will engage with stakeholders across the organization to drive data quality improvements through to their resolution and completion.

  1. Examining and testing datasets for integrity, accuracy, and quality.
  2. Assisting with remediation of M365 data quality issues.
  3. Overseeing system design and its effects on performance and quality.
  4. Creating and presenting data analysis reports to decision-makers and senior leaders.
  5. Building and managing stakeholder relationships.
  6. Liaising and collaborating with data owners and stewards to identify data quality issues and plan remediation actions.
  7. Dedicating time to understanding the data and its users to ensure a comprehensive assessment of the impact of changes from all perspectives.
  8. Maintaining accurate data records and documenting quality controls, policies, and procedures.
  9. Supporting wider Data Governance activities on an ad hoc basis.

A bit about you

Your friends would probably describe you as ‘the logical one’. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion. You’ll challenge current processes, be tenacious, and have a keen eye for detail. You want to be part of a collaborative culture where you feel empowered but always know you’ll never be left alone.

You love working with smart people and hate mediocrity; you know there is almost always a better way of doing things even if it can’t be delivered immediately. Smaller teams, a flat structure, constant learning, being challenged, having your own responsibility, and being trusted to make things happen describe the environment you thrive in. You want to be part of a collaborative culture where you feel empowered but always know you’ll never be left alone.

To thrive in this role, we’d expect you to have experience with some of the following:

  • Comfortable using Excel, including pivot tables and formulae.
  • Analytical with an eye for detail.
  • A self-starter, able to identify needs and address them quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to represent our culture and values, and chair meetings with business data owners.
  • Ability to identify creative solutions to problems.
  • Happiness taking full ownership of your work and prioritizing effectively.
  • Previous experience with Power BI and SQL is beneficial but not mandatory.
