Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Data Protection Coordinator to respond to data subject rights requests and protect the business from GDPR risk. You will handle DSARs, liaise with customers by phone and email, and coordinate with IT, support, and third parties for data disclosures including CCTV footage.

No prior experience required, but a genuine interest in data protection law. Useful qualifications include a data protection law degree or IAPP/CIPM/FIP certificates.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; genuine interest in data protection law.
• Useful data protection qualifications can help but are not mandatory.
• Experience producing formal reports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to data subject access requests and rights.
• Correspond with data subjects by phone and email.
• Manage disclosure requests from third parties (police, insurers, licensing authorities).
• Liaise with support centre and teams to retrieve data and CCTV footage.
• Prepare data for sharing including redaction and video editing.
• Ensure timely processing and escalate complex cases to the DPO.
• Keep accurate records of progress and RoPA and other statutory requirements.
