Job summary

TCM Partners seeks a proactive Data Protection & Information Governance Officer to safeguard personal data and ensure UK GDPR compliance across the organisation. You will manage information rights requests and provide expert guidance to colleagues.

The role requires experience in data protection or information governance, strong knowledge of UK GDPR, and excellent stakeholder communication. You will identify risks and help strengthen governance while upholding confidentiality in Knowsley.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Protection, Information Governance or a related compliance role.
• Strong understanding of UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
• Proven experience handling Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other information rights requests.
• Experience supporting compliance with SARs and statutory obligations.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator with ability to build relationships across levels.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and data integrity.
• Strong analytical skills to identify risks and improve governance processes.

Are you passionate about protecting personal data and helping organisations maintain the highest standards of information governance? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Data Protection & Information Governance Officer to play a key role in ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and wider data protection legislation. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll manage information rights requests, provide expert guidance on data protection matters, identify opportunities to strengthen governance and help foster a culture of compliance and accountability.

• Experience working in Data Protection, Information Governance or a related compliance role.
• Strong understanding of UK GDPR and data protection legislation, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing Subject Access Requests (SARs), data protection complaints and other information rights requests in accordance with GDPR and organisational policies.
• Experience supporting compliance with SARs and other statutory obligations.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships and influence colleagues at all levels.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and data integrity.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify compliance risks, recommend improvements and contribute to the development of robust governance processes.

Salary: up to £40,000 + excellent benefits
