Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity is seeking a Data & Business Analyst to develop an in-depth understanding of our data landscape and how systems connect. You will map data flows across Salesforce, Snowflake, Marketing Cloud and other platforms, identifying data quality issues and root causes to drive practical improvements.

You will translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories and governance policies, collaborating with Data Management, Data Engineering

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
• Experience mapping end-to-end business processes and data flows.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Experience with CRM/data platforms like Salesforce, Snowflake, Marketing Cloud.
• DBS check required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Build an end-to-end view of our data landscape and document system connections.
• Map complex data flows and business processes across platforms.
• Identify duplication, data quality issues and root causes.
• Help establish data governance and business definitions across areas such as matching, deduplication, consent, retention and data ownership.
• Translate complex requirements into process maps, requirements and user stories for technical teams.
• Work with Data Management, Data Engineering, Salesforce and business teams to implement improvements across systems and processes.
• Support new integrations, testing and implementation across the data lifecycle.
• Create clear documentation to strengthen organisational knowledge and reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
