Job summary

Sizewell C is seeking a Data Modeller to design enterprise-level data models supporting BI, analytics and operations. You will work with the Data Architecture Lead to deliver conceptual, logical and physical models and ensure governance across domains.

The role is permanent, office-based with hybrid flexibility, located in London, offering a 60k–65k salary plus a 5% annual bonus, pension contributions, and 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Modeller or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL with understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of data Lakehouse architectures and modern data stack tools.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical and physical data models to support BI, analytics and operational systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse data requirements.
• Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable data structures.
• Enforce modelling standards, governance and best practices.
• Work with data engineers to implement models in data warehouses and data lakes.
• Maintain and update data models as business needs evolve.
• Document data models, metadata and data dictionaries.
• Support data lineage and impact analysis.
