Job summary

Boots is looking for a Project Manager – Data Migration in Nottingham to lead the data migration and archiving workstream within a major HR transformation programme. You will report to the IT Programme Manager and coordinate across multiple suppliers and internal teams.

The role focuses on delivering data migration, archiving and legacy data retention activities, managing budgets, governance and cutovers to HR systems. Fixed-term 18 months, based in Nottingham/Beeston.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise data migration projects within HR transformations.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, testing, deployment planning and cutover activities.
• Experience with multiple suppliers and legacy platforms.
• Ability to balance priorities and deliver in complex programmes.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
• HR transformation and global deployments in multi-geography contexts is a plus.
• PM qualifications such as APMP, Prince2 or MSP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery plan for data migration and archiving workstream.
• Manage plans, resources, budgets and schedules.
• Govern risks, issues and RAID logs; report to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with HR systems integrator and suppliers.
• Ensure governance, information security and change control compliance.
• Facilitate workshops and governance forums with HR leadership.
