Boots is seeking a Project Manager – Data Migration in Nottingham to lead the data migration and archiving workstream within a major HR transformation programme, reporting to the IT Programme Manager.
You will coordinate across internal teams, partners, and suppliers to ensure milestones, risk management, and successful delivery through mobilisation and multi-year implementation.

As a Project Manager – Data Migration at Boots, you will play a pivotal role in delivering on a large-scale enterprise HR data migration project. The Project Manager will lead the Data Migration and Archiving workstream within a major HR transformation programme. Reporting into the IT Programme Manager, this role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of all data migration, data archiving and legacy data retention activities required to support the implementation of HR Systems. The Project Manager will provide leadership across a complex landscape of internal teams, implementation partners and third‑party suppliers, ensuring effective management of risks, dependencies and delivery commitments throughout the programme lifecycle. The role is initially focused on mobilisation activities and the establishment of the Data Migration and Archiving workstream before supporting delivery through a multi‑year implementation programme. The successful candidate will have significant experience delivering large‑scale enterprise data migration projects and working within complex transformation environments.
