Job summary

PlotBox is seeking an experienced Head of Data Migration to own and scale the function, lead a team, and deliver predictable customer migrations onto our platform. You’ll shape engineering standards, drive reusable migration approaches and partner with Sales, Customer Success, Finance and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of data migration or data engineering teams.
• Experience shifting from bespoke migrations to reusable tooling.
• Ability to define and track meaningful delivery metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data migration delivery pipeline from prerequisites to go-live and hypercare.
• Own migration schedules, commitments, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Establish migration performance metrics: duration, throughput, quality, predictability.
• Improve instrumentation to capture data across tools and processes for decision-making.
• Drive higher first-pass data quality and reduce customer acceptance cycles.
• Identify bottlenecks and remove delays across the migration lifecycle.
