Marchant Recruitment is seeking a Data Manager for an 11–18 secondary school in Milton Keynes. You will own the MIS, manage pupil data, generate reports, and support assessment cycles to drive school improvement.
You will work with SLT, heads of department and staff to keep data accurate, secure, and timely, enabling informed decision‑making and strategic planning across the school.

A well-established Secondary School in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Data Manager to join its busy school administration and leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience working with school data who wants to take ownership of systems that directly support student progress, attendance and school improvement.
You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Department, pastoral leaders and teaching staff, ensuring that school information is accurate, up to date and presented in a way that allows leaders to make informed decisions. The role is varied and involves managing the school's Management Information System, producing reports, supporting assessment cycles and ensuring statutory data requirements are completed accurately.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working with large amounts of information, meeting firm deadlines and communicating clearly with colleagues across the school. You will also be expected to identify ways in which existing processes can be made more efficient, helping the school make better use of its data.
