Job summary

Rotherham Hospice is seeking a Data & IT Support Officer to manage data, systems and IT services. You will maintain accurate data records, generate reports and insights, and provide first-line IT support to colleagues. The role will spend about 60% on data management and 40% on IT support.

The position supports GDPR compliance, KPI reporting, system documentation and user assistance with Microsoft 365 and related tools. A collaborative environment offers opportunities to improve services.

Qualifications

• Experience with databases, spreadsheets and data management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience producing reports and analysing data.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Data Management: maintain records across databases, perform data cleansing, produce reports and KPI information.
• IT Support: provide first-line support for hardware, software and user issues; set up new users and devices.
• Support data extraction and analysis requests; help with GDPR compliance and data governance.
