Job summary

Alzheimer’s Research UK is seeking a BI Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract at Granta Park, Cambridge. The role involves delivering accurate reporting and analysis across Corporate Partnerships, Fundraising and Finance, using Snowflake and Power BI.

You will develop data models, forecast accuracy, and present clear insights to non-technical stakeholders. You will collaborate with multiple teams, ensure data quality, and participate in Agile ways of working, including two office days per

Qualifications

• Experience with large relational databases and analysis packages.
• Developing advanced statistical models, reports and dashboards.
• Influencing stakeholders with insight-led, data-driven approaches.
• Background in analysis, statistics and data-driven decision making.
• Strong SQL skills to query and validate data in large relational databases.
• Developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar data platform.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear information for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative, service-focused, responsive to stakeholder needs.
• Commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proactive, organized and deadline-driven.
• Knowledge of Data Protection practises

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting and analysis to support teams.
• Interpret analytical findings and communicate insights and evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with teams to understand strategies and reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain data models to improve forecasting and understanding of LTV and propensity to give.
• Choose appropriate techniques/software to clearly communicate analytical outcomes.
• Build relationships with fundraising teams to support reporting needs.
• Work with Digital and Supporter Experience Teams to integrate online and offline reporting.
• Support development of data selections tooling with stakeholders for insight, testing and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and improve core tables, views and packages in Snowflake.
• Undertake other tasks as requested by the BI Manager.
