Job summary

Harnham - Data and Analytics Recruitment is recruiting a BI Lead for a 12-month fixed-term contract, remote across the UK. Up to £60K. You will shape reporting capability, enhance self-service analytics, and deliver insights that influence decision-making across the business.

The role focuses on Power BI development, SQL/DAX, data modelling, and collaboration with stakeholders in an agile environment to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• The role requires strong Power BI development experience with front-end visuals and back-end modelling.
• Proficient SQL for querying, transforming, and structuring data.
• Solid data modelling understanding (star schema, Kimball, semantic modelling).
• Experience writing and maintaining DAX measures and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Enhance reporting solutions and self-service analytics capabilities
• Work with semantic layers and data models to ensure accuracy and performance
• Write and maintain SQL and DAX to support reporting requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions
• Support dashboard governance, documentation, and best practices
• Work with Data Engineers, Analysts, and stakeholders on reporting initiatives
• Contribute to agile delivery, sprint planning and continuous improvement
• Explore AI-enabled analytics tools within reporting workflows
