Job summary

Alzheimer's Research UK is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide accurate reporting and bespoke analytics to support fundraising, partnerships and finance. The role sits in the BI team and backs critical decision-making with robust data models and clear insights.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Great Abington, with agile working and about two days in the office per week. A salary circa £42,000 per year is offered along with a benefits package and a supportive

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of using large relational databases and analysis packages.
• Experience of developing advanced statistical models, reports and dashboards.
• Experience of influencing stakeholders through an insight-led and data driven approach.
• Background in analysis, statistical methods and data-driven decision making.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to query, manipulate and validate data held in large relational databases.
• Experience of developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, or similar data visualization platform.
• Experience of working with Snowflake, or similar data platform.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, accessible information for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative and service-focused approach with commitment to stakeholder needs.
• Advanced Excel skills and data protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting and analysis to support teams across the organisation.
• Interpret findings and communicate insights with evidence-based recommendations.
• Work with teams to understand strategies and reporting needs to ensure effective dashboards.
• Develop and maintain data models to improve forecasting and LTV understanding.
• Identify appropriate techniques/software to communicate analytical outcomes clearly.
• Collaborate with fundraising teams to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Coordinate with Digital and Supporter Experience to integrate online and offline reporting.
• Maintain improvements to core tables, views and data packages in Snowflake.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as requested by BI Manager.
