Job summary

Manchester City is seeking a Data and Insights Analyst based in Manchester to turn data into clear decisions for commercial and fan experience teams. You will build and improve Power BI reports, work with Databricks data, and shape data models to support actionable insights.

Joining the Fan Intelligence and Lifecycle Marketing team, you will deliver analysis that answers business questions, communicate insights to stakeholders, and help peers adopt data-driven decision making across ticketing,

Qualifications

• Experience in an analytical, BI or data-focused role.
• Ability to turn data into clear findings, recommendations and actions.
• Experience using Python, SQL, R or another relevant language to analyse, prepare or transform data.
• Experience building clear, useful reports or dashboards in Power BI.
• Ability to gather requirements, understand business questions and explain insights clearly to stakeholders.
• A good understanding of data modelling, reporting logic and working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analysis that answers meaningful business questions and helps teams understand what is happening, why it matters and where opportunities may exist.
• Build, maintain and improve Power BI reports, dashboards and self-service analytics products, while shaping datasets and data models behind them.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate insights in a practical and accessible way.
• Contribute to better team standards through documentation and reusable code.
