Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are seeking a Data and Information Advisor to transform data into actionable insight and support residents across the two councils. You will turn data into monthly and quarterly performance information for senior managers and the Corporate Leadership Team.

You'll develop dashboards, coordinate data submissions, and provide robust analysis to support service improvement projects while ensuring data quality and GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience working with databases, spreadsheets and management information reporting processes.
• Ability to collect, analyse and present information for different audiences.
• Strong written and communication skills to advise colleagues on data and information issues.

Responsibilities

• Turn data into meaningful insight to support better outcomes for residents.
• Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports for senior managers and the Corporate Leadership Team.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and coordinate submission of key performance data and commentary.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, recording practices, reporting processes and system utilisation.
• Provide robust analysis to support service improvement projects, business cases and funding bids.
• Produce routine and ad hoc reports and respond to information requests across the service.
