Job summary

Canopius, a global specialty insurer, seeks a Data Governance Analyst in Manchester to help establish and operate governance across the business. You will work with Data Owners and Stewards to embed policies, standards, metadata and data quality practices within the enterprise data estate.

• Experience building, documenting and enforcing data standards and glossaries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration with Data Owners, Stewards and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate data governance frameworks across business domains.
• Administer Data Governance tooling, metadata and business glossary content.
• Capture and standardise business definitions and data ownership across domains.
• Support governance forums, data issues and audit activities.
• Collaborate with Data Owners and Stewards to maintain data standards and artefacts.
