Job summary

GreenSquareAccord Limited is seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to establish a company-wide data governance framework and operating model. You will lead the creation of governance forums, data owner/steward roles and data cataloging capabilities to improve data literacy and decision-making.

You will collaborate with Digital Services, Governance, Data Protection and operational teams to drive responsible AI governance, data quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing Data Governance Frameworks
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata and master data management
• Experience working with BI, reporting and cloud platforms such as Azure or Microsoft Fabric
• Experience delivering organisation-wide change and cultural improvement
• Knowledge of data-related legal, regulatory and information security requirements
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed the Data Governance Framework, Operating Model and roadmap
• Establish Data Owner and Data Steward roles and governance forums
• Develop data cataloguing, metadata management and business glossary capabilities
• Map data across systems and identify risks and opportunities
• Provide guidance, training and support to improve data literacy
• Support governance of AI, analytics and emerging technologies
• Monitor and report governance performance, risks and progress to senior leaders
• Develop business cases, manage budgets and data-related change initiatives
