Job summary

B Lab is seeking a Data Governance Lead for its Data & ML Platforms pillar. You will own data standards, definitions, and sensitivity classifications across the data platform, while boosting data literacy and ensuring compliance with laws and documentation requirements.

You will collaborate with Senior Analytics Engineer and Data Engineer to align models and pipelines with standards. The role is full-time, remote-first, Amsterdam NL work authorization expected, with offices in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Experience with data standards, definitions, and sensitivity classifications.
• Familiarity with data-related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Standards & Definitions and manage sensitivity classifications.
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal policy.
• Drive data standards adoption and improve data literacy across the organization.
• Partner with Platform Peers to ensure models and pipelines meet standards.
• Evaluate governance tooling and quantify literacy impact.
