Job summary

Primark Stores Limited seeks a Data Governance Analyst for Smart Retail Ordering (SRO). You will help rollout governance, define data standards, and drive data quality across product, supplier, and inventory data.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams, deliver dashboards, and support audits and risk management initiatives, ensuring data integrity and scalable data practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data quality, or data management.
• Strong understanding of retail buying, merchandising, and related data.
• Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support rollout of data governance in the SRO programme with data owners and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain data definitions, glossaries, standards, and governance docs for SRO data.
• Improve quality and usability of product, supplier, inventory, and ordering data via data quality and MDM.
• Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and perform validation across data platforms.
• Support data lineage and traceability initiatives for ordering and stock management decisions.
• Partner with business and tech teams to embed governance in SRO processes and train teams.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and data extracts to drive process improvements and audits.
