Job summary

RS UK & Ireland is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead data quality, integrity, and consistency across product data and related models. The role bridges Product Management, CX, Category Management, Markets and IT to ensure data is accurate and usable across systems.

You will manage a UK-wide team of Data Governance & System Executives and Product Information Coordinators, ensuring master data aligns with ERP platforms and regulatory requirements, while enabling analytics and strategic

Qualifications

Proven experience in data governance, product data management, or data stewardship roles.
Strong understanding of data modelling, data dictionaries, and metadata management.
Hands‑on experience managing product specification data (e.g., BOMs, attributes, technical specs).
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and how they handle master data.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset.
Experience with data quality frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Data Governance & System Executives and Product Information Coordinators across UK operations.
Enhance product data accuracy and consistency to improve range and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with internal data standards and external regulations.
Provide clean, reliable data to support analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
Support ERP master data integrity across systems.
