Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking a Data and Funding Manager (Maternity Cover) to oversee data quality across the college and manage MIS/data and registry functions for all funding streams.

You will lead on data practice solutions, ensure government compliant records, and drive ILR submissions and funding rules knowledge.

The role offers a salary of £49,440 gross per year plus a range of benefits and temporary terms until the return of the postholder.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification or equivalent in data/funding and related areas.
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy required.
• Significant FE funding and ILR experience.
• Experience cleaning and submitting ILR returns.
• Audit experience (DfE funding/data) is essential.
• Understanding of Apprenticeship funding rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead data quality across college and manage MIS/data and Registry for funding streams.
• Promote and support data practice solutions to meet organisational needs.
• Ensure government compliant quality record management across the organisation.
• Support ILR submissions and associated audit readiness.
