Blackburn College is seeking a Data and Funding Manager to oversee data quality and MIS/Registry functions for all funding streams. You will drive data practice improvements and ensure systems and processes align with government requirements, supporting learners across the college.
A Level 4 qualification in the area or relevant experience, plus Level 2 literacy and numeracy, are essential. Experience with ILR, FE funding rules, and both internal and external audits for DfE funding are required.
The Data and Funding Manager is responsible for ensuring a high standard of data quality is developed and maintained across college and for managing the MIS/data and Registry functions for all funding streams. You will lead on promotion and support for data practice solutions so that systems and processes meet the needs of the organisation and its learners, enabling government compliant quality record management across the organisation.
You must have a Level 4 Qualification in the specific area or relevant experience as well as a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy. You will need to have significant experience of Further Education funding and rules, and the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) and have experience of cleaning and submitting ILR returns. Experience of audit, both internal and external for DfE funding / data is also essential along with a full understanding of Apprenticeship funding rules.
£49,440 gross per annum
