Job summary

GSK is seeking a senior technical builder to design and govern data-flows across its R&D data ecosystem. The Data Flow Lead will translate business needs into robust data requirements, build modular, end-to-end data flows, and ensure governance and compliance are built into the pipelines by design.

Based in the UK, the role involves collaborating with R&D business leads, data platform teams, and the DVO to deliver trusted, automation-ready data flows that scale with the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in a technical domain.
• Experience translating business needs into technical data requirements.
• Knowledge of metadata ecosystems and governance concepts.
• Experience with policy as code and data-flow automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of data-flow requirements with R&D leads and data platform teams.
• Design, develop and maintain modular end-to-end data-flows across R&D systems.
• Ensure data-flows comply with design-for-compliance principles.
• Deliver pre-packaged data-flows with documented specifications.
• Integrate diverse data-flows into a unified machine-readable format across R&D.
• Quality control and documentation; enable handover to functional leads.
• Coach and peer-review to align with industry best practices.
