Job summary

WPP Media is seeking an Associate Director, Engineering to lead the BI & Data Management division within the Data, Technology and Analytics team. You will oversee data integration strategies and build robust pipelines powering client dashboards on the Measure platform.

You will mentor a high-performing team, drive best practices, and partner with clients to understand strategic objectives while delivering scalable data solutions across the global agency network.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, architecting, and implementing complex data integration strategies for unified analytics.
• Extensive experience with cloud data platforms, specifically GCP.
• High proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analytics.
• Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with dbt for data transformation.
• Experience with data ingestion tools like Adverity.
• Strong data modeling capabilities for analytics.
• Experience with digital marketing, media campaign data, or web analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement robust data engineering solutions and pipelines with high data quality and performance.
• Serve as senior technical liaison to planning teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional departments.
• Establish validation and auditing processes to ensure data integrity.
• Oversee data pipelines and models powering dashboards on the Measure platform.
• Lead evaluation and integration of new data sources and technologies.
• Mentor the BI team on best practices, data governance, and client engagement.
