Job summary

Tecsa is seeking a data-driven Category Manager to analyse store clusters by category and perform range analysis to optimise store assortments across the UK. You will use Blue Yonder CatMan and other analytics tools to generate data-driven recommendations and forecasts for Traders, Senior Traders, and Trading Directors.

This role demands strong stakeholder influence, excellent communication, and an ability to translate complex data into clear business actions, with a focus on delivering aligned

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grocery retailing or a comparable fast-paced retail environment.
• Hands-on experience with comprehensive category management processes and systems.
• Demonstrated track record in senior stakeholder management, cross-functional engagement, and alignment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse store clusters by category and conduct detailed range analysis to optimise store assortments.
• Generate data-driven range recommendations and sales forecasts using sales and customer data.
• Present outputs to Traders, Senior Traders and Trading Directors to secure alignment.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Merchandising, Space & Layout and Insights teams to shape strategy.
