Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a Material Planner for our Chadderton site to ensure the warehouse operates with the right inventory in the right place at the right time. You will forecast needs using demand, inventory and operational data, and collaborate across Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Finance to turn data into actionable recommendations.

This on-site role requires four days per week in the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in material planning, inventory planning, supply chain planning or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and turn findings into practical actions.
• Confidence working with large data sets to support decision-making.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP reporting.
• Understanding of inventory management, forecasting and supply chain principles.
• Curious mindset with the confidence to question assumptions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and variance analysis.
• Great organisational skills with changing priorities in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain demand forecasts using historical demand, inventory, sales and operations data.
• Conduct aging inventory analysis and reporting.
• Analyse demand patterns and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variances.
• Identify stock shortages, excess inventory, and emerging demand risks.
• Develop and maintain planning dashboards and KPIs for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales and other teams to align on upcoming demand.
• Work with Warehouse, Procurement and Supply Chain to align inventory plans with supply needs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify improvements.
• Drive data-driven planning processes and automation.
