Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a Material Planner for its Chadderton site. You will own demand forecasts, manage inventory levels, and translate data into clear planning actions. You’ll collaborate with Warehouse, Procurement, Sales and Finance to align inventory with supply needs and operational targets.

The role emphasizes ownership of forecasting accuracy, proactive risk flagging, and improving data-driven planning processes in a fast-paced, on-site environment four days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in material planning, inventory or demand planning in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
• Comfort with large data sets and data-driven decision making.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP/reporting tools.
• Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting and supply chain principles.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain demand forecasts using historical data and sales inputs.
• Conduct ageing inventory analysis and reporting.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for inventory and operations.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variances.
• Identify stock shortages and excess inventory; propose mitigations.
• Create planning dashboards and KPIs for stakeholder visibility.
• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
• Perform root cause analysis to improve forecast and inventory performance.
• Support automated, standardized, data-driven planning processes.
