Job summary

Computacenter in Hatfield is seeking a proactive GTS Inventory Planner to join the Inventory Planning team three days a week. You will manage customer inventory, reduce aged and excess stock, and protect working capital by reviewing demand and stock positions.

You will analyse data to identify risks, produce reports, and collaborate with sales, finance and operations to ensure commercially sound inventory decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory planning, supply chain or demand planning.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent Excel skills, comfortable with large data sets.
• Ability to identify risks and take practical actions.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory positions with focus on reducing risk and excess stock.
• Review forecasts and stock levels to support correct supply decisions.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and risks.
• Produce and review inventory reports for decision-making.
• Escalate risks clearly and drive agreed actions.
• Collaborate with account teams, sales, finance, and operations.
• Support improvements in reporting, process and governance.
