Job summary

GTS Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join its growing Operations team within the data centre and connectivity sector. This newly created role focuses on managing the flow of products, components and information through the supply chain across multiple countries.

You will plan and track movements from international suppliers to customers, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and drive improvements in process efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in supply chain management, ideally within data centres, telecommunications, technology or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering supply chain processes, logistics, inventory management and forecasting, with experience managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and countries.
• Highly organised and analytical, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Any relevant supply chain qualifications such as APICS/CPIM or LEAN would be extremely desirable

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and track the movement of products, components and materials from international suppliers through to customers.
• Work closely with suppliers, factory partners and internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements and delivery deadlines are met.
• Monitor shipments, identify potential delays and proactively resolve supply chain issues.
• Analyse supply chain data, inventory levels and performance to support forecasting and informed decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, efficiency and service levels.
